| 1990年，香港工人健康中心由關注馬鞍山石礦工人之職業安全及健康開始，組成關注矽肺病人小組。在工人健康中心的協助下，一羣肺積塵病患者和家屬組織起來，爭取改善法例，使病患者能獲得合理的賠償，以改善生活。肺積塵互助會於1992年正式成立為獨立機構，有獨立的執委會，並註冊為非牟利慈善團體，同時亦是香港社會服務聯會和香港公益金的會員機構。 | The Association is a voluntary agency established in 1992 by a group of pneumoconiosis sufferers, their family members, doctors and those who concern about the well-being of pneumoconiosis sufferers. The Association is a member agency of Hong Kong Council of Social Service and the Community Chest. | ||
